A Fashionable Scandal - Irina Lazareanu Engaged to Pete Doherty

This latest scandal shocked the fashion community when Irina Lazareanu revealed that she was engaged in an interview with Women's Wear Daily. Her fiance? None other than Babyshambles
member, Pete Doherty.



Now, if you have been following the story, Pete Doherty is the recent ex of Supermodel Kate Moss - and his infamous trouble with drugs has had him in and out of rehab several times. He and Kate Moss broke up a mere three months ago - and she was instrumental in sky rocketing Irina's modeling career.

Irina, who was born in Canada, headed to England and ended up touring with Babyshambles a few years back. This is where she became friends with Moss and Doherty. When I spoke with Irina in an interview in 2006, she mentioned that the trio were quite close and that her first interest was music, not modeling.

But a model she became when Moss took the lithe girl under her wing and chose her to pose for a fashion spread in French Vogue that Moss herself edited. She also had Irina model in her ad campaign for her fashion line sold at Top Shop.

Considering the drug scandal Moss endured and Doherty's repeated trips to rehab, it's a mystery why Irina would want to get in deep with Pete. I mean, Kate broke up with him because he was allegedly cheating on her - but I guess that doesn't matter to Irina - she is already sporting an engagement ring.

We spotted Sarah Jessica Parker on set as Carrie Bradshaw clad in this look, that while being totally weird, it still somehow works.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Kimberly

Last night on America's Next Top Model, the girls had a runway lesson on walking from Mrs. J. Alexander. This lesson came in handy for the first challenge of the episode, walking in couture gowns. The winner of this challenge was Saleisha, who won a trip to Paris to model for the designer's new collection.

The photo shoot had a rock climbing theme, the girls had to wear gowns while struggling to climb the wall.

The judges talked and decided to make the bottom two Kimberly and Bianca. Tyra told Bianca that she loved her photo, but the other judges hated it. She also warned Bianca that she is not the only person to impress in the competition. Tyra told Kimberly that she had a bad photo because she was not able to convey her high fashion look on camera. Tyra loved her ears, and eyes but it wasn't enough to keep her on the show. Kimberly was the second girl eliminated last night, leaving Bianca safe for one more week.

The best photo of the night was by Janet. the 22 year old from Bainbridge, GA showed the gown off nicely while still looking great in the photograph.

Halle Berry Pregnant!

Halle Berry announced this week on Oprah that she is three months pregnant with the child of her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry.

Halle told Oprah that it was difficult for her to get pregnant, and took many negative pregnancy tests before it happened. Berry is now 41 yeas old and is excited about her first child and the new intensity it brings to her relationship with 31 year old Aubry. To make things even more exciting, Berry does not want to know the sex of the child, she says the surprise is worth the wait.

On a previous interview with Oprah, Berry announced that she would never get married again after the terrible breakup between her and ex-husband, Eric Benet. Halle reported that she will keep her promise, and has no intention of marrying Aubry; however, she does plan on having more children with him.

The Gossip Girls Are At It Again In Episode Three

This week's installment of Gossip Girls was full of dramatic tension and over acting, but I don't watch it for the angsty plotlines - I watch it so I can keep my eye on what those evil prep school brats are wearing.

The plot thickens as the teens have to put their best faces forward for the Ivy League mixer; an event that can make or break their future college career. Blair seeks her revenge on Serena after Chuck saw her entering the facility where her brother is being treated after his suicide attempt.

Blair gets the jump on Serena by "outing" what she believes are Serena's problems with alcohol and drugs in front of all the Ivy League representatives at the mixer. After effectively damaging Serena's reputation, Blair gets a heavy blow when she learns that she was mistaken about Serena's visit to rehab.

In the sidelines, Chuck continues his man whore activities, Nate continues to rail against his father's wish that he attend Dartmouth, and Dan makes an impression on the Dartmouth rep despite not having an Upper East Side pedigree. Oh and Dan's sister is getting friendly with Serena's brother blah blah, now on to the clothes.

There were some standout pieces for me - Serena's grey, over the knee boots were scrumptuous and I loved Blair's black outfit with red tights combo. I anticipate that prep school chic is going to be a staple look for teens this fall and knee socks are going to make a HUGE comeback.

But what the heck was up with Blair's Ivy League event outfit? Oversized blue blazer and pleated skirt? She looks like a badly dressed secretary and her hairstyle completed the look. Hair was a problem for Serena too - she took the term "bed head" too literally.

Beauty and the Geek Make-Out Session

Sam and Rebecca from the reality show Beauty and the Geek, got intimate after a game of truth or dare. While the other contestants on the show were playing the game, Sam and Rebecca were whispering and snuggling close together.












Later on that same evening, after a few drinks, Sam and Rebecca were caught on camera kissing and embracing one another on the couch outside the girls bedroom.

The new relationship between the two beauties is causing some tension among the group, but no fights have occurred.....yet.

Britney Spears Sex Tape The Sequel?

A mere day after Britney Spears handed over custody of her two children it is being reported that the mother of two is the star of yet another sex tape.

Apparently, this sex tape is new and not the one she allegedly made with ex husband Kevin Federline. A man who met Brit Brit while she was away on vacation last June told In Touch magazine that he made a video of them having sex and that he may take the tape public.

The man claims he taped himself and Britney having sex without her knowledge that the camera was rolling. He also told In Touch that he met Britney at a bar and then ended up back in her room. "It was just normal sex, we didn't do anything crazy. It was a little disappointing. It lasted for about 25 minutes and then we passed out."

The 28 year old man who was living on Hawaii's Island at the time of the alleged encounter with Britney says he is reluctant to release the video because of his poor sexual performance.
