America's Next Top Model Eliminates Ebony

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls had to pose in a photo shoot all about recycling. Two girls in particular didn't do very well and resulted in the bottom two. Ambreal and Ebony were the worst of the bunch and the judges were confused as to why. Tyra told both girls that they were excellent models but every week their photographs get worse. In the end Tyra decided to eliminate Ambreal, however Ebony spoke up and told Tyra that she did not want to be a model anymore and didn't want to be in the competition. Trya's response? She didn't like quitters and she believes that Ebony wants to go because she can't handle people telling her what to do. This week Ambreal got another shot and is still in the running to becoming America's Next Top Model.

Spice Girls Reunion!

The Spice Girls have reunited for and are releasing a Greatest Hits CD. The album will be released on November 13th and will only be available in the US at Victoria's Secret stores. So get your early copy soon because the album will not be available nationwide until January 15th. Capitol Music Group is releasing the album with 13 songs, featuring classics such as 'Wannabe', and 'Spice Up Your Life', plus 2 new songs called 'Voodoo' and 'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)'.


The Spice Girls Reunion Tour starts on December 2nd in Vancouver, after which they move to San Jose California for December 4th, then on to L.A. on December 5 and 7th, and finally, Las Vegas on December 8th and 9th. Capitol Music Group plans to release more tour dates soon.

The Spice Girls are also scheduled to appear at the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Dec 4th, which will be aired on CBS.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Janet

The girls of America's Next Top Model are starting to get jealous of their competitors. Lisa won the posing challenge this week, which sparked bad mouthing in the house. Lisa did not let the girls ruin her confidence, because her photograph was among the best of the night.

The photo shoot was on top of a high building where the models had to pose as gargoyles. The bottom two were Janet and Ambreal. Tyra said that both girls are beautiful and confident but it does not come through in the photographs. The judges decided to eliminate Janet, because they felt that Ambreal could do a better job if she were not so afraid of heights.


The best photograph of the episode was by Bianca. She shows confidence in her eyes, and shows off the fashion as if she were selling the dress.

Gossip Girl Style Breakdown

Fashionistas have just gone nuts over the fashions that grace the small screen each week on the backs of our favorite Gossip Girls and this week's episode was no exception. Sleepover fun, truth or dare, first dates - it all made a great dramatic back story for all the sumptuous clothes.

Paris Hilton's New Fragrance

Parlux Fragrances will release a new fragrance endorsed by Paris Hilton called "Can Can." The fourth perfume by Hilton will hit stores this November and is hoped to be a huge success.



Hilton's inspiration for Can Can came from the dancers of the Moulin Rouge. The hotel heiress calls the fragrance "elegant and fun." Representatives from Parlux Fragrances break down the perfume into clementine flower, cassis and nectarine as the main attracting notes. Underlying notes include wild orchid, orange blossom, soft musk, amber, and woods.

Star Tips: Get Celeb Worthy Nails

The hottest nail colors of the season are dark and vampy - and celebs are loving them! No more boring pinks and playful brights; the new nail colors are sexy and bold.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Victoria

Last night on America's Next Top Model the girls got their makeovers. The salon was full of tears and joy as usual, when Bianca was told that her head would have to be shaved because her hair was so damaged.

The photo shoot was an interesting one, to transform the girls into flowers or plants. The judges had some problems with a lot of the photographs, but the bottom two this week were Victoria and Saleisha.

Tyra told Victoria that she had an interesting atypical look but her attitude was horrible; she talked back and had snappy comments to the judges when they tried to talk to her. Saleisha was told she has a great heart shaped face, but her photographs were not that great.

This time Saleisha got another chance and Victoria packed her bags and went home. Not a huge loss for Victoria though, she stated afterwards that she didn't really have the heart for modelling and it's better that she didn't win, because she didn't want to take the dream from another girl.

The best pictures of the episode were a tie this time. Ebony was a bird of paradise and she conveyed a high fashion look very well. In Heather's photograph she was weeds and it looks very artsy and she has great facial expressions.

Charlize Theron Named Sexiest Woman Alive

Charlize Theron was voted the sexiest women alive by Esquire magazine. The photo spread and story on the 32 year old South African beauty will be in the November issue of the magazine. In the past winners included actresses like Jessica Beil, Angelina Jolie, and Scarlett Johansson.

Charlize next movie is called In The Valley of Elah. Its a political drama where Theron plays a detective looking for a missing soldier. Staring along side Theron in the movie are Tommy Lee Jones and Susan Sarandon.

Mischa Barton Stays With Keds

Mischa Barton agreed to remain the spokeswoman for the Keds Corporation. Previously this month, Keds extended the deal they have with the former OC star until 2008. The new spring 2008 line of Keds shoes is said to be influenced by Mischa's classic fashion sense as well as her aspiring career as a movie star.

The former ad campaign for Keds was "Be Cool" and started before Mischa was famous from the hit teem drama. The new slogan for 2008 and the new line will be unveiled in New York City in December. Meanwhile, the photo shoot for the new spring shoes is being shot this month.

Keds is excited about having Ms. Barton signed on for one more year because she is an influential fashion icon for so many young women as well as a good roll model for the shoe corporation.

Hilary Duff Stars In New Movie

Teen pop singer Hilary Duff is busy on the New Jersey set of her new movie Greta. Duff will play the main character, a waitress, who falls in love with a cook (Evan Ross) from the restaurant.

In the movie, Duff's character lives with her old fashioned grandparents who do not approve of her new found romance. Its not that the grandparents are against Hilary finding love, they just don't approve of interracial dating, especially when Ross' character has a criminal past.

While shooting the new movie, Duff is happy with her NHL hockey star boyfriend, Mike Comrie, and also working with dance remixers WAWA on a new single, Stranger.

Lindsay Lohan Is Out of Rehab

Lindsay Lohan checked out of rehab Friday; this has been confirmed by several sources including the young star's parents.

Lohan had been in the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah since August and was seen leaving the facility with her father, Michael carrying her bags.

A source told People magazine that "She's finished the program. Lindsay is done, but she may come back for outpatient treatment. She over-extended her stay because she wanted to. She could have been out awhile ago, but she chose to stay."

LiLo began her treatment following her July 24 arrest in Santa Monica for suspected drunk driving. When searched, police found a small amount of cocaine in her pocket said a spokesman for the Santa Monica police.

The arrest came just after her stint at the Promises rehab center and the actress issued a statement where she accepted responsibility for her actions and said she suffers from drug and alcohol addiction.

She then entered her treatment in Utah. Linday's mom, Dina told People that "I'm proud of her. She's moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal."

Lohan is already preparing to get back to work. She has plans to begin filming a tango-themed movie called "Dare to Love Me" in LA on Oct. 15.

Christina Aguilera Has New Perfume

On October 1st, Christina Aguilera released her new fragrance called, 'Simply Christina' in stores. The new perfume has the scents of jasmine, vanilla, black currant tea, and amber all in one simple bottle.

The bottle is covered in black lace and is supposed to represent Christina's curvy body. The bottle also contains a slogan for its user, referring to the black lace and the scent itself, "Sometimes it's all you need to wear". Clever!



The commercial uses old Hollywood glam imagery and Christina herself is done up to look like a 1920's movie star. There are many references to Marylin Monroe which is also the same premise for her current album. She wants the same old Hollywood vibe for her fragrance and for her music.

Jennifer Lopez Confirms She is Pregnant!

After months of pregnancy rumours and public denial, Jennifer Lopez has confirmed that she is pregnant after a wardrobe malfunction revealed her growing baby bump.


During one of her tour performances in Connecticut, her flowing Roberto Cavalli designed top blew up and showed off her belly to fans and photographers alike.

This will be JLo's first baby and hubby Marc Anthony's fourth. He already has three children from other relationships.

A Fashionable Scandal - Irina Lazareanu Engaged to Pete Doherty

This latest scandal shocked the fashion community when Irina Lazareanu revealed that she was engaged in an interview with Women's Wear Daily. Her fiance? None other than Babyshambles
member, Pete Doherty.



Now, if you have been following the story, Pete Doherty is the recent ex of Supermodel Kate Moss - and his infamous trouble with drugs has had him in and out of rehab several times. He and Kate Moss broke up a mere three months ago - and she was instrumental in sky rocketing Irina's modeling career.

Irina, who was born in Canada, headed to England and ended up touring with Babyshambles a few years back. This is where she became friends with Moss and Doherty. When I spoke with Irina in an interview in 2006, she mentioned that the trio were quite close and that her first interest was music, not modeling.

But a model she became when Moss took the lithe girl under her wing and chose her to pose for a fashion spread in French Vogue that Moss herself edited. She also had Irina model in her ad campaign for her fashion line sold at Top Shop.

Considering the drug scandal Moss endured and Doherty's repeated trips to rehab, it's a mystery why Irina would want to get in deep with Pete. I mean, Kate broke up with him because he was allegedly cheating on her - but I guess that doesn't matter to Irina - she is already sporting an engagement ring.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Kimberly

Last night on America's Next Top Model, the girls had a runway lesson on walking from Mrs. J. Alexander. This lesson came in handy for the first challenge of the episode, walking in couture gowns. The winner of this challenge was Saleisha, who won a trip to Paris to model for the designer's new collection.

The photo shoot had a rock climbing theme, the girls had to wear gowns while struggling to climb the wall.

The judges talked and decided to make the bottom two Kimberly and Bianca. Tyra told Bianca that she loved her photo, but the other judges hated it. She also warned Bianca that she is not the only person to impress in the competition. Tyra told Kimberly that she had a bad photo because she was not able to convey her high fashion look on camera. Tyra loved her ears, and eyes but it wasn't enough to keep her on the show. Kimberly was the second girl eliminated last night, leaving Bianca safe for one more week.

The best photo of the night was by Janet. the 22 year old from Bainbridge, GA showed the gown off nicely while still looking great in the photograph.

Halle Berry Pregnant!

Halle Berry announced this week on Oprah that she is three months pregnant with the child of her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry.

Halle told Oprah that it was difficult for her to get pregnant, and took many negative pregnancy tests before it happened. Berry is now 41 yeas old and is excited about her first child and the new intensity it brings to her relationship with 31 year old Aubry. To make things even more exciting, Berry does not want to know the sex of the child, she says the surprise is worth the wait.

On a previous interview with Oprah, Berry announced that she would never get married again after the terrible breakup between her and ex-husband, Eric Benet. Halle reported that she will keep her promise, and has no intention of marrying Aubry; however, she does plan on having more children with him.

The Gossip Girls Are At It Again In Episode Three

This week's installment of Gossip Girls was full of dramatic tension and over acting, but I don't watch it for the angsty plotlines - I watch it so I can keep my eye on what those evil prep school brats are wearing.

The plot thickens as the teens have to put their best faces forward for the Ivy League mixer; an event that can make or break their future college career. Blair seeks her revenge on Serena after Chuck saw her entering the facility where her brother is being treated after his suicide attempt.

Blair gets the jump on Serena by "outing" what she believes are Serena's problems with alcohol and drugs in front of all the Ivy League representatives at the mixer. After effectively damaging Serena's reputation, Blair gets a heavy blow when she learns that she was mistaken about Serena's visit to rehab.

In the sidelines, Chuck continues his man whore activities, Nate continues to rail against his father's wish that he attend Dartmouth, and Dan makes an impression on the Dartmouth rep despite not having an Upper East Side pedigree. Oh and Dan's sister is getting friendly with Serena's brother blah blah, now on to the clothes.

There were some standout pieces for me - Serena's grey, over the knee boots were scrumptuous and I loved Blair's black outfit with red tights combo. I anticipate that prep school chic is going to be a staple look for teens this fall and knee socks are going to make a HUGE comeback.

But what the heck was up with Blair's Ivy League event outfit? Oversized blue blazer and pleated skirt? She looks like a badly dressed secretary and her hairstyle completed the look. Hair was a problem for Serena too - she took the term "bed head" too literally.
