Fashion's big sellers in pictures

When the Duchess of Cambridge wore a pair of coral trousers last week, Asda claimed a resulting 88 per cent spike in its sales of similar trousers just a day later.
 Samantha Cameron wore a pair of T-bar strap "Samella" platforms by Aldo sold. The Canadian brand sold 222 percent more that week than the previous. It turned out, however, that that percentage represented a grand total of 21 pairs.
 Samantha Cameron wore Emilia Wickstead for her recent visit to Ground Zero. Traffic has since tripled to the London based designer's website.

 The Duchess of Cambridge wore the same blue 'Trina' Reiss dress her mother first wore two years ago on a recent visit to a children's hospice. When pictured wearing a Reiss dress in her engagement photographs the global increase in traffic to the brand's website caused it to crash.
 The Duchess wore a £69.99 Zara dress to the Royal Albert Hall last December which prompted a run on the Spanish brand's dress.
 Fearne Cotton is said to have a sway of up to 40% on the sales of Olivia Rubin's dresses, one of which she is seen wearing here.
 Samantha Cameron has been sporting designs by London designer Roksanda Ilincic for a few seasons now. Of the patronage Roksanda said, "It has been such a pleasure to see Samantha wearing my designs on her visit to the States. I'm sure that it will have a positive impact, she is a beautiful ambassador for the brand."
 Twiggy fronted a Marks & Spencer campaign which saw a 'sales uplift' of 250%. Next month Marks & Spencer will launch its first Twiggy-designed collection including this "statement" sequin jacket.
On her first day at Oxford Universtiy Emma Watson wore a black and white check shirt - buried under a hulking green Canada Goose parka. As a result, Maison Scotch enjoyed a sales spike of 23 per cent.
