Asian models enjoy starring roles on the catwalk

 Renowned fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier shot Shu Pei for the cover of Chinese Vogue, where she was highlighted as one of the newest model faces to watch.

 Okamoto has appeared in advertising campaigns for Ralph Lauren, GAP, Benetton and Uniqlo Heattech to name but a few.

 So Young Kang has modelled for American Vogue and was on the catwalk of several autumn/winter shows including Marc Jacobs and Oscar de La Renta, where she is pictured here backstage.

Shanghai-born Shu Pei Qin now lives in New York City. The 20 year-old was snapped up for shows such as Chloé, Chanel and Louis Vuitton for the spring/summer 2011 collections.
