It is 9am on a rainy Saturday morning at the beginning of London Fashion Week in February. Select Model agency's glamorous new offices in central London are surprisingly sleepy still, although the team were working late into the night confirming options for their girls, and planning schedules for Milan Fashion Week, which follows straight after. I am here to meet Liu Wen, the 24-year-old from Yongzhou, a city in Hunan province in central southern China, and the country's biggest fashion star.
