Pippa-fever hits the high street as Debenhams are to sell a copy of the Alexander McQueen bridesmaid's dress that she wore to the royal wedding.
It was the dress that catapulted Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, into public consciousness. The figure-hugging, ivory gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen was custom-made and served to accentuate Pippa's trim physique (while inadvertently putting the spotlight on her toned rear) acquiring thousands of male admirers and a 'Rear Of The Year' nomination along the way.
After being "inundated" by customers wanting a similar dress to that of Pippa's, high street retailer Debenhams has produced a £170 version which will go on sale later this year.
