The make-up The make-up artist Shama Sahzayasin has used a light foundation, only where needed, to create a dewy look. Use a liquid highlighter, such as Benefit Moon Beam (£18.50), on your cupid's bow and at the tops of your cheekbones. Curl your lashes with Shu Uemura curlers (£20, from spacenk.co.uk ) and apply one coat of black mascara, using Max Factor Masterpiece (£10.99). Keep your brows groomed with a powder such as Elizabeth Arden Dual Perfection (£17). For glossy, peachy lips opt for a lip tint over a lipstick, such as Dior Sérum de Rouge in Coral (£25).
The regime In your thirties you need to concentrate on boosting the skin's hydration. Switch to a cream or oil-based cleanser, such as Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish (£13.25), which will have a moisturising effect. When lines start to appear around the eyes introduce a hydrating eye cream with an SPF, such as Shiseido Sun Protection Eye Cream SPF 25 (£26).
DIY daily facial Lines appearing around eyes and on the forehead? Burrell suggests using your ring finger to gently draw inward circles around each eye (repeating 20 times). To firm the thin skin and muscle of the forehead, massage in small circular movements all over the area, morning and evening.
