Ttake a look at the other genetically-blessed stars who have
swapped the catwalk for the big screen.
AGYNESS DEYN
Deyn - real name Laura Hollins - was the model
du jour back in 2007 - when she was named Model of the Year. But she
turned her back on the catwalk, landed a small role in 'Clash of the
Titans' and hasn't looked back. She played a stripper in 'Pusher' (left)
andhas now been cast to star in British director Terrence Davies's
'Sunset Song'.
BROOKE SHIELDS
One of the original models-turned-actresses,
former Calvin Klein model Brooke recently took to the stage on Broadway
to play Morticia in a musical rendition of 'The Addams Family'.
EVA HERZIGOVA
Swapping the frivolity of the catwalk for the
serenity of the film set, Czech model Eva Herzigova has been spotted on
the set of Italian film Cha Cha Cha in Rome, Italy.
GEMMA WARD
Australian model Gemma Ward was at the top of
her game in the Noughties, but retired from the spotlight after the
death of her close friend, actor Heath Ledger. She remerged from the
wilderness as an actress, playing a beautiful mermaid in 'Pirates of the
Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' and next up: 'The Great Gatsby'.
GISELE BÜNDCHEN
Even the world's highest-earning supermodel,
Gisele Bündchen, has flirted with film. She pulled out her best assets -
those never-ending, caramel-hued legs, for a role in the 2004 movie'
Taxi'.
JAMIE KING
There is more than 15 years between the two
pictures opposite - from when King stalked the catwalk, to when she made
quite an impression in the 2005 hit 'Sin City' - showing those
impressive model genes.
KELLY BROOK
Brook made her name posing with as little on as
possible (this Ultimo campaign from 2010 is perhaps a more conservative
depiction) but showed just how versatile her talents are when she
covered up for a part in the ITV show 'Miss Marple'.
