The other (31C) day, I sat next to a woman swaddled in a straining pencil skirt, 70-denier stockings, suede boots, stiff shirt and hefty wool jacket. The swelter she exuded was enough to have me reaching for the sal volatile. What's a hot child in the city to do?
More than ever, fabric is your friend. Cotton, most obviously, silk, even one of the ritzier polyesters will create the lightness of touch required.

Supermodel Kate Moss goes back to her Croydon roots to shoot her latest Rimmel campaign.
As the old saying goes: 'You can take the girl out of Croydon, but you can't take Croydon out of the girl'. Never a truer word was said about Kate Moss, who loves her birthplace so much, she was helicoptered in to shoot her latest Rimmel ad on top of the legendary Whitgift shopping centre.

The top floor of the multi-storey car park had to be cleared so that Moss's chopper could land, sparking mass-hysteria as locals thought it was actually queen-to-be Kate Middleton arriving, rather than queen Kate of Croydon.

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince married on July 1 at St. Peter's parish church in the village of Southrop.

 Kate Moss wore a stunning sheer bias-cut gown by John Galliano, embellished with gold beading. Jamie Hince wore a skinny, double-breasted peak lapel jacket and skinny trousers in grey wool, striped cotton shirt, printed grey wool tie and pair of leather boots, all Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati.

 Kate's intricately embroidered polka-dot lace veil was pinned to the back of her hair.

 Hince accessorised his dapper look with some ubiquitous rock & roll sunglasses.

Kate Moss Ready To Release New Fragrance

Kate Moss is set to release her newest fragrance with Coty called Velvet Hour. The official launch of the fragrance will be in September, but the ad campaign has already been shot by photographer team Mert and Marcus.

Eau de toilette will be available in 100ml for $76.00 or in 50ml for $60.00.
