2008 American Music Awards

Stars flooded the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon for a night of killer performances and awards.

Miley Cyrus perfromed at the event even though it was her 16th birthday, but what better way to show off your age then to drive on stage in a car! The sweet 16 arrived wearing a black and gold mini dress by Marchesa.



Pink arrived at the American Music awards in a sparkly silver dress by Vivienne Westwood.



Christina Aguilera perfromed on stage with red stained lips and platinum hair, but looked elegant upon arrival in her silver dress.



Rihanna won two awards for favorite soul R&B female and Rock and Pop Female. The umbrella singer accepted her awards in a little lacy dress with matching white gloves.




Mariah Carey performed her hit "I Stay in Love", and Beyonce also got on stage for her song "Single ladies".

Rihanna Models For Gucci and UNICEF

Stylish singer, Rihanna, has been selected to model in Gucci's 4th annual ad campaign for UNICEF. The singer is posed wearing Gucci's all white Tattoo Heart collection. A portion of the proceeds from this collection will go to the UNICEF to help support children living in Africa.

The ads arn't due out until December, but here is a sneak peak.

Madonna Hosts Fundraiser For Children In Africa

Madonna hosted the "A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF" fundraiser in New York City on Wednesday night. The event was co-hosted by Gucci and took place in a tent on the lawns of the United Nations. Many celebs took a night off from New York Fashion Week to show their support and raise funds for orphans and children suffering from HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Rihanna And Timbaland Design For H&M

A variety of celebrities, such as Rihanna, Timbaland and Jade Jagger are designing in the Designers Against AIDS charity.



The line will offer T-shirts, tank tops, and hoodies all of which will display a print about the cause. The print label will have the name of the celebrity print designer and will be in a variety of styles. The tag on each item of 100% Cotton clothing will read, "This might be the most important piece of clothing you've ever had your hands on." The charity line will be available in H&M stores February 2008.
