Linda Evangelista demands $46,000 child support – a month

The supermodel is in court to claim maintenance from the father of her four-year-old son by luxury goods boss Francois-Henri Pinault.

 Forty-six-year-old former supermodel Linda Evangelista appeared in Manhattan Family Court yesterday to demand child support for her son, Augustin James. Augustin's father, Francois-Henri Pinault, just happens to be one of the richest men in France thanks to his portfolio of luxury labels which counts Gucci, Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen.
It is thought that Pinault - who is now married and has a three-year-old daughter with Hollywood actress Salma Hayek - has not made any contributions to his son's upbringing so far.
