The gorgeous Penelope Cruz wins the award for best supporting actress for her work in Vicky Christina Barcelona. Cruz accepted her award gracefully in her vintage Pierre Balmain gown which was covered in $3 million dollars worth of Chopard diamonds.

Penelope Cruz and her sister, Monica are at it again, designing for Mango. This is the sisters fourth season designing for the Spanish clothing company. The spring 2009 ad campaign features the sexy Oscar nominee and her sister in some gorgeous shots.

Sisters, Penelope and Monica Cruz have signed on for the second consecutive year to design a spring collection for MNG Mango. The new line is said to hit stores mid February and we are expecting it to be great.
Mango is using the Spanish sisters in their spring ads, which were shot recently in London by photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Look for the ads and the clothes in stores by February.

Penelope Cruz was honored last week in New York at the Spanish Institute by Spanish Queen Sofia. Cruz was grateful to accept the award for her achievements in promoting Hispanic culture around the world.
Also acknowledged at the event was former president Bill Clinton for his significant role as a world leader.
Spanish fashion designer, Oscar de la Renta presented the medals along with the queen to the deserving Cruz and Clinton.
