Summer's obsession with coloured jeans, which come in myriad shades from crimson to emerald green and cobalt blue, prove that the days of the cult jean are far from over. Despite costing £205, J Brand's Crayola-coloured skinnies are summer's sell-out success - proof positive that, when it comes to jeans, we want something a bit more interesting than plain old classic.

The British summer may have tentatively arrived this week, but in fashion it's time to think about autumn; the stores have long traded billowy summer dresses for more sturdy new season stock. True, few of us want to shop for anything too heavy at this time of year - alpaca poncho in August, anyone? - but the new season jeans are worth snapping up soon because, to use one of fashion's favourite current phrases, they are very much a "buy now/wear now" item. These are the trends up for consideration.

Rachel Bilson For Edie Rose

Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans collection has a new designer and a new face for their campaign. Rachel Bilson has designed the new collection consisting of sportswear, button down tops, sweaters, jackets, t-shirts, dresses, and two styles of jeans (straight and skinny).



Everything will be available in September at Macy's, and Dillard's. Look for the ads shot by photographer Mikael Jansson in Teen Vogue and Cosmogirl magazines starting in September.

Heidi Klum Models Her Jeans

Heidi Klum looked fabulous for the launch of her new line of denim for Jordache. The almost forgotten denim label has new designs out by Klum which were featured for the first time at Bloomingdales in Beverly Hills, California.

The 20 piece collection features jeans, blouses, sundresses, and knit tops, and range in price from $80 - $250.

Victoria Beckham Promotes New Denim Line

Victoria Beckham was in Toronto today to promote her new spring 2008 dVb by Victoria Beckham denim and eyewear collection. Posh hit Holt Renfrew, Canada's high end department store, to sign some autographs for a very large crowd.



Beckham greeted the crowd wearing her signature jeans, brown riding boots, and equestrian jacket. Hundreds of people showed up just to get a look and a snap of their favorite spice.

Kate Bosworth For Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein Jeans has found their new model for their spring/summer 2008 ad campaign. Actress, Kate Bosworth will be seen in February issues of fashion magazines in black and white minimalist photographs. The ads were shot by photographer David Sims in Los Angeles. David Sims also shot the ads for Pepe Jeans with Ashton Kutcher.
