Royal Ascot fashion 2012: hat horrors - 2

Utilising an old feather boa and an unwanted lampshade, this lady in red packs a charity-shop inspired punch at the races.
Is there a face under that petal-strewn top hat? Though she might be smiling for this photographer we don't blame her for trying to hide.
Fine Filly? Bit Silly might have been better in retrospect.
Tequila sunrise? Happy Hour cocktails should not be the inspiration for one's Ascot outfit.
We almost didn't notice the hat we were so distracted by this race goer's Scousebrows. Homemade hat and make-up both better when viewed from afar.

Not sure what the 7" single on Sofia Hayat's head plays, maybe Jacko favourite 'Bad'?
The Mad Hatter herself - complete with teapot.
Didn't anyone tell this show goer that the colours of the Union Jack are red, white and blue? There's no yellow in there, dear.
A zany, birdcage-inspired ensemble didn't quite pay off for TV presenter Anneka Svenska.
Her horseshoe motif might say '1st prize' but sadly the whole look falls a hurdle too short in the hat stakes.
Getting into the British spirit doesn't require a lady to put a Frisbee on her head. We wonder if someone should have told her the local sports day is next week.
Looking pleased as punch with her headpiece efforts, we wonder if this race goer stayed up all night sewing those sequins on her Union Jack flying carpet creation.
The local pet store has put a plea out for members of the community to return a missing tropical bird, if sighted.

racey Rose added racing stripes to her headpiece for an inspired take on Barbie chic.
