SAG Awards 2013: red carpet beauty highlights

It was a beautiful evening in Hollywood last as leading ladies took to the red carpet for the 2013 SAG Awards. We round up the best beauty looks from the red carpet.

Rose tinted lips and cheeks and loose side swept hair is a hit on Amanda Seyfried .
For the girl who can make no mistakes, comes a look from Claire Danes that just isn't quite right. The make up balance (heavy lips, semi statement eye and asymmetric hair - to match already failing asymmetric dress) is just off. Plus, russet toned make up should never be assigned to blondes.
Jennifer Lawrence should have left it at the red lip, but adding a heavy smoky eye and side swept hair leaves her looking, well just a little awkward and overdone.
Love the brave blood red lips on Anne Hathaway against her signature porcelain skin, we're just not so sure about the grown out school boy crop.
We can forgive the delay on picking up the dip dye trend Lea Michelle (just) but the extremities of this example we just can't excuse.
Can she do no wrong? Jessica Chastain takes her hair and make-up down a notch on this red carpet, but with perfect skin, a satin rose lip, black lashes and 1940's inspired side swept hair, executes what trends she does do, perfectly.
This is heavenly make up and hair on Marion Cotillard who's taken three trends (the smoky eye, pink lip and side swept hair) and tweaked each one to keep them as flattering as can be.
Good make up on Nicole Kidman let down by hair that's spent too much time with straigtening irons, which should never make themselves known on the red carpet.
