Duchess of Cambridge: Canada & North America tour

We track the Duchess of Cambridge's sartorial choices as she makes her first state visit.





Day 10: On the final day of her first state visit, Catherine wore a navy and white crochet top and white pleat skirt, both from high-street store Whistles.



 Day 9: For the BAFTA celebrations Kate wowed the crowds with this pale lilac Alexander McQueen gown. She wore a pair of chandelier earrings which were on loan from the Queen and a pair of Jimmy Choo 'Vamp Glitter' sandals in champagne.
Day 9: The royal couple attended a polo match in Santa Barbara to which Kate wore another Jenny Packham dress. Rather than wearing her usual court shoes, Kate opted for a pair of nude patent LK Bennett sandals.

 Day 9: At the private reception in Los Angeles, Kate wore a full Diane von Furstenberg outfit - an emerald green silk 'Maja' dress and leopard-print snakeskin clutch.
 Day 8: The Duchess wore this blue-grey Roksanda Ilincic dress along with her LK Bennett "Natalie" clutch and Kiki McDonough diamond earrings for her first vist to the US.



 Day 8: On her departure from Canada, Catherine wore a red Catherine Walker "Marianne" coatdress. Again, she wore nude heels and a maple leaf brooch which was on loan from the Queen.
Day 8: In Calgary Kate wore a printed Alice Temperley blouse, Goldsign jeans and her own cowboy boots. She accessorised with a white cowboy hat which was a gift from the residents of the city.

 Day 8: On the last full day of their tour, Kate wore a cute primrose yellow silk Jenny Packham dress to meet cancer suffererer, Diamond Marshall.
Day 7: In a similar tone to yesterday's outfit, the Duchess was looking casual in a white frill-front shirt, a Smythe blazer (which she wore on Day 1) and a pair of J Brand 811 jeans.
Day 6: Kate changed into something a little more practical - a Burberry shirt, navy jeans and a Linda Camm belt - for her short flight on a sea plane.
Day 6: The Duchess chose to go with Danish brand By Malene Birger for this beige linen dress, which she teamed with her LK Bennett nude shoes and a matching clutch.


 Day 5: For her Dragonboat race, Kate changed into a Nike anorak, skinny jeans and a pair of Sebago deck shoes.
Day 5: For her visit to Prince Edward Island, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a cricket style dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and navy court shoes.

 

Day 4: Kate departs Quebec City for Fort-de-Levis, where she and Prince William will be meeting veterans. The Duchess has changed into a cream "Vanessa" dress by Joseph, her second outfit of the day. The dress sold out online in eight minutes, it was reported on Whatkatewore.com .
 Day 4: Kate wears a second blue dress by Erdem, with lace detail across the shoulders, as she disembarks the HMCS Montreal in Quebec City.

 Day 3: Kate wears a grey, short sleeve, collared shift dress by one of Princess Diana's favourite designers, Catherine Walker for a tree-planting ceremony. She teamed the dress with pointed lizard court shoes by Tabitha Simmons and a grey Hobbs clutch bag.
Day 2: Wearing a purple silk jersey dress by Issa and a maple leaf brooch - on loan from the Queen - and a black clutch bag and court shoes, Kate and William attended Canada Day celebrations.

 Day 2: Wearing the Reiss 'Nanette' dress that she wore for her official engagement photo, Kate accessoried with a Anya Hindmarch 'Fan' clutch, a broach on loan from the Queen and a maple-leaf hat by Sylvia Fletcher at Lock & Co.
Day 1: For her third outfit change of the day, the Duchess donned a bird print dress from one of her designers, Issa.

 Day 1: After a quick inflight change, Kate disembarked the plane in a blue lace dress from the the Canadian born designer, Erdem Moralioglu's, Resort 2012 collection.
Day 1: The Duchess of Cambridge wears a navy Roland Mouret dress, a £579 blazer from Smythe and a Mulberry Polly Push Lock handbag to board the flight to Canada.
